Do you fax things face up or down?
If the icon has lines of text on the front of it then you should send a fax with the paper face up. If the text lines only appear on the folded corner, send the fax with the paper face down.
Which way do you put the paper in a fax machine?
Face Down. When you insert the document you want to fax with the printed side toward the machine, the document's text and graphics are face down against the tray. The fax machine then pulls the document down the tray and scans the document's content.
When scanning a document which side goes down?
Remember to place the paper that has the information or the picture you want to scan, facing down, i.e., the blank side of the paper should be facing Up. 2.
