I have been having trouble finding forms, and then getting the fill-in fields to work. While I like the end product I'm frustrated that it is not more user friendly.

I signed up for the free trial and was…
I signed up for the free trial and was able to amend 2 documents with ease.If I had the kind of life that required me to need further amendments in this way, this service is absolutely one I would use. Thing is, I just don't, so I didn't sign up after the free trial! Had a little difficulty cancelling the subscription, but honestly - I think that was 'on me', I just wasn't entirely sure what I was doing.However, it's a great service and the company responded to my concern when the subscription fee was taken by emailing me back and confirming that they would be refunding the cost. So, I think you can trust this company.

Was OK after had a chat. I plan on keeping PDF filler after the trial period ends for 1 year so I can do my 2024 taxes done before the renewal date. If you have or willing to have a 3 month subscription from February to April I would be interested.

Is the grid method cheating?
There is no such thing as 'cheating'- If you like to use a grid, by all means use a grid. If you feel that you don't need a grid, then don't use one. I often use them when I am drawing from a photo- especially when getting things EXACTLY right is a concern- It just saves time over erasing and re-drawing over and over.
How do you enlarge a pattern with a grid?
Enlarging a Pattern on Paper Step 1: Draw a 1 by 1 (2.5 cm by 2.5 cm) grid on a sheet of paper. Step 2: Pick a square on one side of the pattern. Find the corresponding larger square on the paper. Note where the pattern lines enter and exit the pattern square, and mark those locations on the larger square.
