When the document opens, go to the Review tab and find and click on the option that says Restrict Editing. You will now see to restrict editing pane on your screen. Find and click on the button that says Stop Protection to unlock selection in the document.
Place the image in your document. Right-click the image to display a Context menu. If you are using Word 2007 choose Text Wrapping | More Layout Options. ... Make sure the Text Wrapping tab is displayed. ... Click the Behind Text option. If you are using Word 2007 display the Picture Position tab.
Open the form that you need to lock down, and press Ctrl-A to select all content within the form. Click the Developer tab, and then click Restrict Editing on the Protect group; if you cannot see the Developer tab, click File | Options | Customize Ribbon | Developer | OK.
Open the document, then click the “Review” tab. Choose “Restrict Editing” in the Protect group to open the Restrict Formatting and Editing window beside the document's text. Click the “Stop Protection” button at the bottom of the Restrict Formatting and Editing window.
