I have tried a couple other products and they do not compare with the ease of the PDFfiller product. I am over 80 and faced with a great deal of medical paperwork regarding insurance, test results, doctors paperwork and hospital paperwork.
My handwriting is a bit shaky with age and at times people can not read what I have attempted to write. I used PDFfiller on a several pages of a doctor's information form and it was a breeze and people could read my answers. How long should log files be kept?
While most logs are covered by some form of regulation these days and should be kept as long as the requirements call for, any that are not should be kept for a minimum period of one year, in case they are needed for an investigation.
How long should audit logs be kept?
The most cautious strategy for companies as long as it is not cost-prohibitiveis to keep all audit logs for a minimum of six years.
Should audit logs be maintained?
Long term maintenance of audit logs can prove difficult for many organizations because the logs can occupy extensive storage space that may not be readily available. However, if possible, maintain the audit trail for the life of the records.
Where are audit logs stored?
By default, the Audit system stores log entries in the /var/log/audit/audit. Log file. If log rotation is enabled, rotated audit. Log files are stored in the same directory.
How do you protect audit logs?
Ensure Integrity Digital records need to maintain integrity from tampering. External threats to your environment can be mitigated by firewalls, but you also need to make sure that internal actors cannot change the logs.
