If a rewritten URL is sent outbound through Mime cast, the URL reverts to its original form. What happens next depends on whether the URL is considered safe or harmful: If the link is considered safe, users are redirected to the original destination site without intervention.
Targeted Threat Protection — URL Protect is an advanced Mime cast service, that builds on our security gateway services to protect your organization against the growing threat posed by advanced phishing and spear phishing attacks in inbound mail. It works by rewriting all URLs in inbound messages.
Go to Permitted Senders: Once in, you should see: Create a new policy. This completes the Permitted Sender whitelisting policy configuration. Mime cast Anti-Spoofing (recommended but not mandatory) Go to Anti-Spoofing.
To block or allow access to individual domains / URLs: Select either the Block or Allow option. Enter the Domain / URL in the field (e.g. company.com). See the Mime cast Web Security: Block or Allow Policy Rules / Examples age for further details.
Log on to your Mime cast Administration Console. Click the Administration toolbar button. Select the Gateway | Policies menu item. Select URL Protection Bypass from the list of policies displayed.
