Great online pdf editor. Should have more features in personal level, a bit annoying to not be able to perform basic functions such as erasing sections of a document or deleting pages in a commercial, paid product. That is my only complaint though. Great software otherwise.

Just right-click on the sheet tab at the bottom and select “Protect Sheet” Then select “Except Certain Cells”. You can then input the ranges you want to allow them to edit and that protection transfers when you “Make a copy” of the Workbook.
Go to the sharing dialogue, select “get shareable link”, select “anyone with link can view”, then select “copy link”. Use that link when sharing and the person you are sharing with will get a prompt to “make a copy” when they click it.

Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Click Data. Protected sheets and ranges. Click Add a sheet or range or click an existing protection to edit it. To protect a range, click Range. Click Set permissions or Change permissions. Choose how you want to limit editing: Click Save or Done.
Prevent Copy/Paste over Data Validated cells The only way to prevent that from happening is to write a macro that detects updates to the cells, determines if data validation is enabled on the cells, and then denies the paste if true. Select all the cells that have data validation and name them DataValidationRange.
Step 1 Press ALT + F11 or click View Code on the Developers Tab. Step 2 Double-click on the worksheet that is password protected. Step 3 Copy and paste the code below into the (Code) window. Step 4 Click on the Run Button or press F5.
