How do I change duplicate resolution?
Right-click on an open area of the desktop and select screen resolution.
Under multiple displays, select “duplicate these displays”, then click OK.
How do I change to duplicate mode?
Right-click on an empty area on the Desktop, and select Display Settings from the menu.
In the Displays Setting menu, it should list all detected displays (in the example below, 2 displays are used). ...

How do I change my screen to duplicate?
Click the Start button and select Control Panel.

What is the difference between duplicate and extend display?
Duplicate these displays will show the same thing on both monitors. Extend These Displays will make all monitors act as one big monitor; displaying different things on each.

As long as your computer is on, simultaneously press the FN and F8 keys on the keyboard. This function allows you to toggle back and forth between output display mode and its native screen.
Can I have 2 monitors with different resolutions?
So if you end up using two different monitors, just make sure they both support the same resolution (720p, 1080p, 1440, 2160, etc). As mentioned earlier, even if the two monitors have different resolutions, everything will work fine. Both monitors will simply run at their native resolution.
How do I change the resolution on two monitors?
Right-click on the Desktop and select Screen Resolution.
Change the Multiple Displays drop-down as per your preference.
Select the desired monitor and adjust the resolution using the slider.
Click Apply.
What resolution should I use for dual monitors?
So a monitor with a resolution of 1920×1080 has 1920 pixels going from left to right and 1080 pixels going from top to bottom. If you have two displays sitting next to each other, then you would simply double the horizontal pixel count (1920×2 or 3840).
