So far so great! In a pinch and PDF filler has come through!! A bit disappointed that there is not a more expanded, cheaper personal version, but as I said before we are in a bit of a pinch.

The "Next" button seems to be getting in the way. Maybe having the next blank fill-in space highlighted would be more user-friendly.
The primary IRS form I filled out had a neat feature for checking boxes. The Schedules (A, B, O) I filled out I had to type "x" in the box. Not a big deal, but ...

It was really hard to find certain features like consolodating multiple PDFS into one. I also thought the package I bought came with the signature signing option - and apparently it didn't. 180/year is a lot to NOT have that feature. That's the main reason I chose it over others.

How do you day trade with settlement dates?
For most stock trades, settlement occurs two business days after the day the order executes. Another way to remember this is through the abbreviation T+2, or trade date plus two days. For example, if you were to execute an order on Monday, it would typically settle on Wednesday.
Can I trade on settlement date?
Cash accounts are required to abide by industry-wide settlement rules that were established through Regulation T of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. These rules dictate that cash proceeds from Stock, ETF, and mutual fund trades will settle on the third business day after the trade date.
Can I trade before settlement date?
Settlement is the delivery of stock against the full payment that must take place within three business days after the trade. You can sell the purchased stock before the settlement day traders do it all the time provided that you do not violate the free ride rule.
What is a Settle date for trading?
Settlement date is a securities' industry term describing the date on which a trade (bonds, equities, foreign exchange, commodities, etc.) settles. That is, the actual day on which transfer of cash or assets is completed and is usually a few days after the trade was done.
Is it the trade date or settlement date for taxes?
The trade date, which is the date that the order was executed, is the one that counts for tax purposes. The settlement date is just the date when the cash or securities from the transaction are plunked into your account. You're smart to ask a tax question in February, by the way.
How long does it take for an option trade to settle?
Most security transactions, including stocks, bonds, municipal securities, mutual funds traded through a broker, and limited partnerships that trade on an exchange, must settle in three days. Government securities and stock options settle on the next business day following the trade.
Why does it take 2 days to settle a trade?
This means an investor who buys two days before the record date will not receive the dividend. This is the day the stock goes ex-dividend. A stock purchase can settle after the ex-dividend date and the investor will still receive the dividend, as long as the trade or purchase date was before the ex-dividend date.
Why does it take 3 days to settle a trade?
Clients are given 3 days to pay for the trade, or deliver securities to close short positions. Trading errors and misunderstandings are a significant part of the business. Three-day settlement allows time to make corrections.
