The format of the website was a lot to get used to as there are a plethora of options to go through. Once I was familiar with the site it became obvious this was everything I needed it to be. Great functionality, easy to use. Highly recommend.

How do you correct a mistake on a legal document?
Draw line through entry (thin pen line). Make sure that the inaccurate information is still legible. Initial and date the entry. State the reason for the error (i.e. in the margin or above the note if room). Document the correct information.
How long does it take to correct a deed?
When done properly, a deed is recorded anywhere from two weeks to three months after closing. However, there are many instances where deeds are not properly recorded. This issue creates a defective deed and will impact the chain of title negatively. A wrong call in the metes and bounds or a lot number mistake could lead to problems.
