How do I save scanned documents as one PDF?
Choose Tools > Create PDF > Scanner > Default Settings or My Custom Settings. Note:
If you want to change the settings, click the Settings icon.
Click Scan.
If prompted to scan more pages, select Scan More Pages, Scan Reverse Sides, or Scan Is Complete, and click OK.
What happens when you reduce the file size of a PDF?
It will resample and compresses images and subset-embeds fonts that were left embedded. It also compresses document structure and cleans up elements such as invalid bookmarks. If your file size is already as small as possible, the Reduced File Size command will have no effect on the size of your document.
Does reduce the file size of a PDF reduce the quality?
While Preview can reduce your PDF, it isn't able to preserve image quality. The problem with Preview's built-in file compression is how image quality drops drastically afterwards, causing any image or graphic in your PDF to look blurry and at times incomprehensible.
How do I reduce the MB size of a PDF scan?
Open the PDF you wish to optimize.
Choose Document> Optimize Scanned PDF. . .
The Optimize Scanned Image window appears.
Choose the appropriate level of compression and click OK.
How do I reduce the size of a PDF file for free?
Select the PDF file that you would like to compress, then upload it to the PDF size converter for compression.

How do I save a marked up PDF?
To save a copy of your annotated PDF for future viewing using the document viewer or any other PDF viewer that supports annotations: Click File options ▸ Save As… Choose a name and folder in which to save the file, then click Save. The PDF will be saved in the folder you chose.
How to save a PDF that cannot be copied?
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools > Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
