What are the rules for getting your first license?

What should you do first when receiving your driving License for the first time?
Adjust the vehicle so that you are comfortable. Do not overthink the situation. Calm your nerves. Rid yourself of distractions. Stay on familiar roads the first time you drive. Stay away from interstates and major highways.
How long do you have to wait to drive people after getting license?
You are also not allowed to drive between 11 pm and 5 am during your first year after getting your license unless you have a licensed parent, a guardian or other adult 25 years old or older in the car with you. With a provisional license, you can drive by yourself between the hours of 5 am and 11 pm.
Can you drive by yourself with a license at 16?
A provisional license is a license with special conditions. Even though you can legally drive alone after you are 16 years old, you need to have a provisional driver's license for six months prior. With a provisional driver's license, you are allowed to drive with a licensed adult 25 years of age or older.

Have your permit for a minimum of 6 months before you apply for a license. The provisional permit may not be used until you are enrolled in behind-the-wheel driver training with an instructor or reach age 17 1/2.
