The shape of a distribution is described by its number of peaks and by its possession of symmetry, its tendency to skew, or its uniformity. (Distributions that are skewed have more points plotted on one side of the graph than on the other.)
How do you describe the shape of a distribution histogram?

Skewed. The skewed distribution is asymmetrical because a natural limit prevents outcomes on one side. ...
Double-peaked or bimodal. ...

What word can be used to describe the distribution of the data set?
The word location is used as a synonym for the middle or center of a dataset. There are two common ways to describe this feature. The mean is the usual numerical average, calculated as the sum of the data values divided by the number of values.
How do you describe the shape of a graph?
The four ways to describe shape are whether it is symmetric, how many peaks it has, if it is skewed to the left or right, and whether it is uniform. A graph with a single peak is called unimodal. A single peak over the center is called bell-shaped. And, a graph with two peaks is called bimodal.
