in a nutshell: sooooooooooo much better than adobe acrobat. i'm a new user, but this was just infinitely less frustrating (and i'm hoping less expensive) that dealing with adobe.

Great Tool & Responsive Customer Support I've been using pdfFiller for several years now, and find it easy to use to make quick changes to documents. It has improved over the time i've used it, as originally the font didn't always match and some sections couldn't be moved or deleted, but it now seems to have these features. On a couple of occasions I've needed to raise a support ticket, and the team are very responsive, helpful and provide a resolution quickly. The reason i've not given it 5 stars is because last year i had to edit a 60+ page instruction manual, and spent many hours over a couple of weeks trying to get it to work, but it kept crashing and not loading all the pages, which was frustrating and wasted a lot of time. In the end i gave up and redesigned the manual using another platform. Overall, great for simple editing and the basic package is good value for a small business.

Does a DNR have to be notarized?

You do, however, need to talk to your physician, who will sign your DNR. In some states, adult witnesses or a notary public must also watch you sign the order. A prehospital DNR order won't have any effect unless emergency medical personnel see it before they begin CPR.

What happens if you don't have a DNR?

It is an emergency rescue technique that was developed to save the life of people who are generally in good health. NOTE: If you do not have a DNR orders, health care providers will begin CPR in an emergency.

How do you write a DNR?

Use a form provided by your doctor. Write your wishes down by yourself. Call your health department or state department on aging to get a form. Call a lawyer. Use a computer software package for legal documents.

What makes a valid DNR?

A DNR or Do Not Resuscitate request is usually made by the patient or health care power of attorney and allows the medical teams taking care of them to respect the patient's wishes. In the U.S., CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLs) will not be performed if a valid written “DNR" order is present.

Do DNR forms expire?

DNR orders must be dated. Depending on the state, orders may expire after a certain amount of time or there may be a deadline for the physician to follow-up. Even if a DNR order doesn't expire, a particularly old order may prompt caregivers to revisit the decision with patients.

You always have the right to change your mind and request that CPR be administered during a medical emergency. If you change your mind, you should inform your physician and nurse immediately so that your DNR order may be revoked. You also should inform your family and other caregivers of the change in your decision.

If a person is unresponsive with no pulse or breathing, and you do CPR, you can still cause all this damage, but a person with no breathing and no pulse is dead, clinically and legally. So, by all means, if someone is unconscious and not breathing, and you don't think they have a pulse, by all means perform CPR.
