How do I turn off notifications for a certain time?
On the Settings menu, tap the Sound & Notification option, and then scroll down until you see the App notifications entry. Tap that. Tap each app to see its notification options. To disable notifications for an app, switch the Block All toggle the on position.
Can you set notifications for certain times?
If you use Cyanogen there's Settings→Cyanogen Settings→Sound→Quiet Hours. “Do not disturb” mode should be present in stock and skinned Android versions. It can be accessed through the Settings. You can set which apps can send what notifications at what time.
How do you allow certain notifications on Do Not Disturb?
Go to Settings on your phone (either drag down from the top of any screen and tap the Settings (gear) icon or tap Settings (also a gear icon) in the app tray.
