To be honest, I'm a new widow and I wasn't thinking very clearly. I haven't taken the time to read the online instructions so my navigational issues are of my own neglect. How do I open a password-protected PDF without the password?
Open Locked PDF. After launching Chrome, open a new blank tab. Drag and drop your password-protected PDF into this tab. Remove Password. After opening the file, click the “Print” button in Chrome, and choose to resave it. The newly saved PDF file does not have password anymore.
