Go to Edit PDF on the menu. Header and Footer > Add Page Numbers/Add Bates Numbers/Add Text/Remove Page Numbers. Choose your setting and press Apply.
Add Page Numbers to PDF on Mac PreviewGo to Show Markup Toolbar as following. Go to Text to add text box where you want to add page numbers to the PDF as header or footer. Then input page numbers to the text box. Repeat this on each page you want to add page numbers.
Rearrange PagesIn Preview, open the PDF.From the toolbar, click Sidebar to open the sidebar drawer. You will see thumbnails of each page in the PDF.Click and drag the thumbnail of the page you would like to move to its new location. (Hold down the Command key to select multiple pages.)
You can open a PDF in Preview, then add, delete, and rearrange pages, or move pages from one PDF to another. In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change. Move pages in a PDF: Choose View > Thumbnails or View > Contact Sheet, then drag the pages to their new location.
