Go to Edit PDF on the menu. Header and Footer > Add Page Numbers/Add Bates Numbers/Add Text/Remove Page Numbers. Choose your setting and press Apply.

Type text in the header and footer text boxes to add more headers and footers. As you type, the preview updates the appearance of the complete headers and footers on the page.
Add page numbers in Pages on MacMove the pointer over the top or bottom of the page until you see the three header or footer fields, then click the field you want to use (left, center, or right). Click Insert Page Number, then choose a numbering style.
