How to fill out cpraedbasic first aid:

01
Start by assessing the scene for any potential dangers. Make sure it is safe for you to enter and provide aid.
02
Check for responsiveness of the victim by tapping them gently and asking if they are okay. If they do not respond, shout for help and dial emergency services.
03
Open the airway by tilting their head back and lifting the chin. This helps to ensure a clear passage for breathing.
04
Check for normal breathing. Look, listen, and feel for any signs of breathing. If the victim is not breathing or only gasping, start performing CPR.
05
Begin chest compressions by placing the heel of your hand on the center of the victim's chest (between the nipples) and interlocking your other hand. Push down on the chest at least 2 inches deep at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. Allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions.
06
After 30 compressions, give two rescue breaths. Pinch the victim's nose shut and make a complete seal over their mouth with yours. Give two breaths, each lasting about one second, and make sure you see the chest rise.
07
Continue with cycles of 30 compressions and two breaths until help arrives or until the victim shows signs of life.
08
If an automated external defibrillator (AED) is available, follow its instructions for use. Attach the AED pads to the victim's bare chest and follow the voice prompts for delivering a shock if advised.
