On motion the following articles were adopted: Article 5 The City Council approves amendments to the ordinances governing building construction and alteration as a part of the City's Master Plan (referred to herein as the “Buildings Ordinance”) and the Plan for the redevelopment of Milwaukee's Water Works (referred to herein as “The Plan”). 6. On motion the following articles were adopted: Article 6 The City Council approves an amendment to a portion of the Plan that will allow for the acquisition of property by the City, as a part of the Plan, for consideration by the Department of City Development to determine whether the property's use can support the redevelopment of the property. 7. On motion the following articles were adopted: Article 7 On motion the Committee of the Whole adopted Ordinance 1 as amended (“the Water Ordinance”) as read before Council on June 9 and June 29, 2010, at the Committee's meeting on June 23. On motion on June 1, 2010, Councilman Kramer called for a special meeting, to convene at 4 p.m. of the Second Tuesday in October in 2010 for the purpose of further consideration of the Water Ordinance in light of other actions to be taken in relation to a possible water supply transfer agreement between the city and Milwaukee Water Works (referred to as Waukesha-Milwaukee Water Facility Agreement or the YMCA Agreement) by the Federal Government. On motion to accept the YMCA Agreement and move to reconsider one item in the agenda: On motion the City Council accepted the amendments made to YMCA in connection with the Water Ordinance. The resolution on the water supply agreement was adopted. 10. There were no quorums present. 11. On motion Councilman Kramer moved that Council adjourns for the day. 11.1 The following questions were addressed by Council after adjournment: 1. Councilman Kramer: On motion Alder person Kitten moved that Council accepts the Water Ordinance as amended as read and signed.
