What's up guys hey, so I had a guy request and say Matt can you show me how you count windows and all that fun stuff this is not a video I typically would make as most you guys know I just don't talk that much about it, I think I have one video on one or two on here out of like the 50 videos I have a pricing but let's chat, so I'm here in my office and this is kind of like our side of the building the south side of the building here and so very, very simple of how I would price this job out now we'll walk around the side here and let's just say because we would never take a job this size we would if we did it would obviously be our minimum pricing which I guarantee nobody would pay however you can see there are windows all the way down, so this would definitely add up to be a job that would be our at least our minimum and very simple you know some guys would count these those two windows I probably wouldn't because the ground-level if they were three stories in the air I would probably count these as two windows maybe not just kind of depends on how many windows the house had but let's go we got the door one two above it three four five six seven eight nine wrap around the whole way right and then what I would do is our estimate sheets you can see we got a door here few more windows on the side I don't know how many as us to say there are 40 windows so what I would do is I would take our window cleaning price which right now is six dollars per window for inside and outside does not include screens does not include tracks we charge two dollars per screen two dollars per track, so that brings up to eight ten bucks a window roughly if the house has a lot of windows let's say maybe they have a hundred windows or something like that we typically will give them a little of a price break on the per window price but let's just do, and I'm going to get my calculator out here because I will fail you guys miserably with my math skills I got terrible grade in math class but let's say this building has 40 windows, so I would do 40 times 6 that brings us 240 bucks then what I do is I say ok so 240 dollars is what our pricing would be typically right then I look at the project I say well fall groundwork we don't need any ladder so that speeds things up a lot you know what condition is the glass in the glass is in perfect shape it looks like it's there maintained maybe at least a couple of times years ok, so now I don't have to you know put razors on it and everything like that it's quick in and out, and so I'll ask myself roughly how long is the job going to take we try to stay somewhere between 80 and 100 dollars per hour which is two guys and so if I think this job you know 40 windows on a building like this would take me an hour and a half and I have it priced at 240 then I might be overpriced a little right, so I'm going to take an hour and a half I might drop that down to 199 because I know we're still going to head our crew hour, and it gives us a better...

To calculate the price, you need to multiply the home size by how much you'll charge per square foot. For example, basic cleaning for a 2,500-square-foot home will cost between $200 to $250.
The formula for figuring square footage is Length x Width. Example: A room that is 20 feet long and 30 feet wide = 600 square feet. Once you have measured each area with notes as to what type surface is on the floor, you can add them up for the total square footage that is in the building or area.

A cleaning estimate is an estimate of the cost for a cleaning service such as carpet cleaning, house cleaning, window cleaning, and other related services. The estimate will typically include the cost of materials, labor, and any other associated fees. The estimate is used to help customers decide if they can afford the services and to ensure that the service provider can cover the costs of the job.
1. Gather all necessary information: Make sure you have all the information you need about the job, such as the type of cleaning, the size of the space, any special requests from the customer, and any time constraints. 2. Create a detailed list of services: Break down the job into different services and list the associated costs for each one. This helps make the estimate easier to understand and ensures that the customer knows what they are paying for. 3. Calculate the total cost: Once you have a list of services and associated costs, add them all up to get the total cost of the job. 4. Present the estimate: Present the customer with a written estimate that includes all the services and costs. Make sure the customer understands all the details before they agree to the estimate. 5. Get a signed agreement: Make sure the customer signs the agreement to officially accept the estimate and to begin work.

Area/Size: The total square footage or the number of rooms/areas that need to be cleaned. 5. Special Instructions/Notes: Any specific instructions or notes provided by the client regarding certain areas or items that require special attention or additional services. 6. Pricing: The estimated cost of the cleaning services, broken down by service or hourly rate, and any additional charges (e.g., cost of materials, parking fees) if applicable. 7. Terms and Conditions: Any terms and conditions that apply to the cleaning services, such as payment terms, cancellation policies, or any warranties or guarantees offered by the cleaning company. 8. Expiration Date: The date until which the estimate is valid, typically mentioned to ensure that the pricing is based on current rates. 9.
