Music in the static posture assessment we lookat the body from four different anglesone is the posterior angle or from backyou look at the body one is from theanterior view front view oh and then onewe look at the right side lateral angleand then the left side lateral anglecombining the information we collectingfrom these four different angles willgive us a very good idea what what areasof the body have abnormalities and theyneed the focus of our treatment to startthe posture assessment we usually askclient to remove whatever extra stuffthey have on such as belts such asremoving socks that's ideal such asanything in the body will change theposture also we we ask them ideally towear shorts because it's good to see theknees at least when you are comparingtwo sides together we need to make surethat when the patient's standing fromfrom your point of view that both feetare exactly on the same line if they'renot you will adjust it to make sure thatthat both feet on the same line can youmove your left feet a little bit backvery very amazing so now I see both feetare in the same line that will reducethe chance of mistake of of diagnosingthe abnormalities on the posture so weusually start from the bottom we go allthe way up to the head and neck areawhen we look at the foot area the firstthing we notice is the position ofAchilles tendon we want to have bothAchilles tendons are exactly straight inthe middle of the foot if you have anycurves and Achilles tendon especially ifthe curve is going outward through thisdirection that is indicating thediagnosis of flat foot or some degreesonof abnormalities in the foot care sowhen you look at the Acura standard yousee if there is any abnormalities or notyou go to the next point which is theknee area in the knee area you'recomparing both knees together you lookat if the both knees are too closetogetherthat is indicating the valgus positionof the knee if the knees are too farfrom each other that is also showing thevarious position of the knee which eachof them meaning different things indiagnosing the posture abnormalitiesafter here we go to the next point whichis the hip position the best way tocheck the hip position to see if thereis any tilt on the hip on to the leftside or to the right side is locatingthe the highest point of the ilium orhip by by pointing at this area and thenthe other side and then comparing bothhands to be able to see if there is oneside higher or one side is lower thatshowing the there is a tilt of the hipon the lateral side to the left or tothe right that is also very veryimportant piece of information that weneed to be able to put together fordiagnosing of the postural abnormalitiesthe next thing you check in theposterior view is is checking theposition of the spine or spinousprocesses you want them to be exactly inthe line in the straight line if thereis any curve to the right side or to theleft side that is indicating scoliosisif the curve is is is...
