If you electronically file your tax return or homestead credit claim, you must send in Form W-RA with your required attachments. This form acts as a cover sheet and lists the attachments you need to send electronically, or in the mail. If you file using our Wisconsin e-file software or other software that supports electronic attachments, you may attach the required documents directly to your e-filed return. If you do this, you do not need to mail in your documents. If you choose to mail your documents, you must mail the form with your attachments within 48 hours of receiving confirmation that we received your tax return or homestead credit claim. If you don't mail this form with your documents it can delay the processing of your return. Also, we can process your refund faster if you paperclip your documents instead of staple them.
