What is the time limit for the San Diego Rock and Roll marathon?
The official course time limit for the marathon is 7 hours. Course time limit begins when the last marathon corral crosses the start line. Marathon participants must start within the first 18 corrals to have the entire 7 hours to complete the race.
Is there a time limit to finish a marathon?
There will be NO support of any kind on the course (aid stations, medical, communications, etc.) for anyone not maintaining a 6-hour pace. Those who do not reach marathon mile 13.2 by 10:05 AM or mile 21.2 by 11:50 AM will not be allowed to proceed past that point and will be provided transportation to the finish.
How long is the Shiprock marathon?
This is the first time the Expo will not be held at the San Diego Convention Center. On Saturday, the 5K starts at 7 a.m. near Balboa Park at Presidents Way and Park Boulevard. The full and half marathons begin at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, with the starting line at Sixth Ave. and Quince Street at Balboa Park.
