The service works well and is very convenient, however I was disappointed by the way I was able to complete an entire form but was not advised it was not free until the form was completed after spending a couple hours working on it. Since this is a pay service, the consumer should be advised immediately upon accessing any forms on an internet search. In order to preserve my work, I had no choice but to subscribe. Perhaps you should market a new service that charges by the document. I would have gladly paid for that up front. The service itself works very well.

How the request for quotation (RFQ) process works Prepare the RFQ document. Create a vendor list. Send out the RFQ document. Receive responses from vendors. Select the chosen vendor. Close the final contract.
Identify clear requirements with input from internal stakeholders to make sure you've included all the requirements, which are at least these: Definition of the products or services required with detailed specifications. Delivery requirements. Quantities. Payment terms. The proposed method of evaluation.
The buyer builds the RFQ, usually on a simple template that states the item description, quantity needed, and any other limitations, such as the deadline for the submission of quotes. The RFQ is sent out to a select number of sellers (usually at least three).
Prepare the RFQ: the RFQ should include a list of products with any required specifications or features, the quantity or duration of the contract, date of delivery, and payment terms. Process the responses: review each company's pricing and determine which company can provide all the products/services you need.

Generally, businesses use an RFQ when they already know the exact product or service they need, and all they are looking for is the price. An RFP may be used when a business isn't entirely sure what they need. They're requesting vendors to send in a proposal outlining how they would solve the given problem.
Typically, an RFQ process consists of four sections: the preparation phase, the processing phase, the awarding phase, and the closing phase. 1 The company generally will award the contract to the vendor that meets the minimum qualifying criteria and presents the lowest bid.
