Easy to use.
Easy to use. I always send the doc to myself before emailing to final destination, just so I know what it looks like on the receiver's end. Adding a personal note to the email is a bit cumbersome--could be better explained of who sees what.

The 4-shift schedule typically involves two to four 12 hour days in a row, with more or less an equal number of days off. Covering for vacations with either schedules is problematic to say the least, as many exhaustive days in a row are required to cover for time off by fellow workers.
The shift day is divided into three types of shifts: first shift, second shift and third shift. These may also be referred to as the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift. Shift timings may vary depending on the type of business, hours of operation and whether an employee is full- or part-time.
This pattern is made up of 4 teams (or crews) and 2, 12-hour, Shift Durations. This shift pattern occurs on a 16-day cycle, in which teams work for a total of 8 days, with a total of 8 days off. In this rotation, teams work 4 day shifts, have 4 days off, work 4 nights shifts, and end with 4 days off.
The 4-on 4-off schedule is one of the most commonly used 24/7 schedules. As the name suggests, employees work for four consecutive days, followed by four consecutive days off. This schedule is often used in industries that require continuous coverage, such as hospitals and public safety.
The schedule is based on a 14-day period in which employees work 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. It is sometimes referred to as “every other weekend off.” This type of schedule is widely used in oil refineries.
Four On, Four Off (or 4 x 4) As its name states, this schedule requires employees to work four consecutive day or night shifts followed by four consecutive days off. While it varies by company, employees typically rotate day and night shifts as frequently as every 8 days or as infrequently as every 24 days.
