How do I restrict copying on a PDF?
To prevent the text and graphics from being copied from the PDF file, uncheck the "Allow text and graphics to be copied" option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled. It is recommended that passwords be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 1 number.
How do I convert a PDF to a protected Excel file?
Once Google Chrome has loaded, enter the password for the PDF.
Next, right click on the PDF and select Print . Set the destination printer to Save as PDF and click Save .
You will now have the option to choose where to save the PDF. Choose a location and click Save .
The PDF no longer has password protection.
How do I keep formatting when converting PDF to Excel?
Right click on the highlighted data and click "Export Selection As", a window will open asking where you want to save the file. Before you save it, change the dropdown menu to xlsx (or whichever excel variant you want) and it should maintain all of the original formatting in a fresh excel file for you.
