What do you like best?

In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to password-protect. Choose File > Export, then select Encrypt. You can also enter a new name for the PDF if you want to create a passworded copy and keep the original PDF unencrypted. Type a password, then retype it to verify the password. Click Save.
Launch PowerPoint and open your presentation. Click "View." Highlight "Master" and click "Handout Master." This opens an interface that lets you change various elements displayed on a handout.
Open the PowerPoint to be converted, then click "File." Select "Export" from the dropdown menu. In the "File" tab, click "Export." Steven John/Business Insider. Then choose the file name, destination, and change the file format to PDF. Then click "Export."
Open PowerPoint presentation and click Print. Select Universal Document Converter from the list of printers and click Properties. Go to File Format and select PDF Document. Select Password protected in PDF Standard like shown on the screenshot below.
On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF. Choose File > Print. Click the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF. Choose a name and location for the PDF file.
