How do I add a note in dashboard tableau?
Re: 'Add comments/notes' section to Dashboard? Go to Dashboard, Click on Text in the pop-up window add the text you want and place the text in the Dashboard.
How do you show comments in tableau?
Right-click on any dimension or measure in the Data pane and choose Default Properties > Comment. You'll be presented with a text editor where you can enter notes and comments about this field.
Can Tableau take inputs?
User input calculations are a fun way to engage your user with a visualization. Parameters can be used in Tableau to allow such user input. By manually changing the parameter, a calculation is altered resulting in the dashboard updating.
How do I add a comment to a calculated field in tableau?
It's pretty simple to add a comment to a calculated field. Simply put two forward slashes in front of whatever text you want to save as a comment, and Tableau will ignore that text when it is evaluating the syntax of the calculated field.
