My only disappointment with PDFfiller was that I did not know it was a subscription based service since I clicked through a google link to a specific form. I am enjoying using the software and finding it helpful completing my VAT forms, I wish you could tab along though from column to column rather than use the space bar. It's a good piece of software though.

Let me start by saying I am an older (58), computer challenged kind of a guy. That said, I have found this program pretty easy to get around. I have been able to take a form my company uses and digitize it so I can actually read the responses people are giving me!! And to be able to store them electronically for future reference.

How do you indicate required fields?
Most designers use asterisks to indicate the required fields. But it is necessary to stop, the research on the subject is clear, and it is already the case for quite some time, used asterisks for the required field is a common mistake.
How do you indicate mandatory fields in form?

How are required entry fields marked?
Required fields are marked with a red asterisk next to the field label. There's no way to change the color of the asterisk.
