How do you block a number?
Select Settings > Blocked numbers and add the number you'd like to block. You can also block calls by opening the Phone app and tapping on Recent's. Choose the number you'd like to block by tapping on it and selecting Block/report spam.
How do I block a number on my iPhone permanently?
Simply go to your list of recent callers (open the Phone app, then hit the Recent stab at the bottom). Click the 'i' symbol next to the unwanted number, scroll down and tap Block this Caller, then confirm your decision. You won't be bothered with any calls, texts or FaceTime calls from that number.
Is there a way to permanently block a phone number?
Temporary blocking your number is the easiest and most practical way to keep your number from showing up on people's caller ID. To block your phone number simply dial *67 before dialing the number. Ex *67 + 555-5555. This can be done from any location, from both a landline or cell phones.
Is there a limit to how many numbers you can block on iPhone?
From the Blocking Numbers menu, you can choose up to 10 contacts.
