Can you discard cards in Satan?
When a player rolls 7, any player with eight or more cards must discard half of their Resource Cards. The discarded cards from all players go into a single pile of cards (similar to free parking in the game Monopoly).

SETTING UP THE GAME 9 cards have a blue coat-of-arms; these are the starting cards for the other player. 11 cards have a map; they are called Region Cards. 7 cards have a road; these are used to connect settlements. 5 cards have a settlement; each is worth 1 Victory Point.
What happens when you roll a 7 in Satan?
a) Rolling a 74 and Activating the Robber If you roll a 7, no one receives any resources. Instead, every player who has more than 7 Resource Cards must select half (rounded down) of his Resource Cards and return them to the bank. Then you must move the robber4.
Do you round up or down in Satan?
If you have 8 cards, easy, give up 4. But, if you have 9, or an odd number, do you round up or round down to the amount of cards to give up? Round down.
When can you play a knight card in Satan?
One has to roll the dice first before doing anything on their turn — even playing development cards. You can play a knight card before rolling the dice. It's the only exception to the “roll before all else” rule.
Can you steal Development cards in Satan?
dev cards may NOT be traded under any circumstances. They may not be discarded in place of resource cards when u roll a 7, nor can they be stolen either. That's what makes dev cards so special.
Can the robber steal Development cards?
No, Development cards do not count as resources for this purpose. You're fine if you have 5 resource cards in hand and 3 dev cards in hand. And just to clarify, Development cards cannot be stolen by other players either.
Can you hide your development cards in Satan?
Remember that you cannot play a development card on the turn that you buy it (so it is always* hidden when first bought); and you can only play one development card per turn (so if you buy two cards in one turn, one of them stays hidden for at least one more turn*). *except for revealing victory points to win.
Do you show your cards in Satan?
No, but it's common to play with a house rule that you can or must display your resource cards face up.
