I cannot believe how wonderful this website is!! I can edit any PDF, fill out forms, send from the website and they even have an option to mail it for me! Definitely exceeded my expectations and I've never seen any other website or app like this. I KNOW I will be renewing this every year, especially how affordable it is!

What do you like best?
I have been using PDFfiller for several years and it is essential to my law practice. I haven't used a typewriter to fill in forms since I began using PDFfiller. Especially helpful filling out long questionnaire forms which may have to be changed as additional information is received. Great product!

As mentioned above, while I could fill out forms by writing in the information, my handwriting is terrible. Using PDFfiller allows me to type in answers on forms which then look very professional.

How can I extend my income tax payment?
Step 1: Estimate taxes owed. Estimate the amount of taxes you will owe for the year. Step 2: Download Form 4868. Completing Form 4868 allows you to obtain the extension to file your return. Step 3: Complete Form 4868. The application for an automatic extension of time requires minimal information. Step 4: Mail the form.
How do I get an extension to pay my taxes?
Use Form 4868. You can also request an extension by mailing a Form 4868, Application for Automatic Extension of Time to File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. You must submit this form to the IRS by April 15. Form 4868 is available on IRS.gov.
Can I get an additional tax extension?
You can request an additional extension of time to file taxes beyond the six-month period, but you cannot ask for multiple tax extensions. If the IRS doesn't receive Form 4868 first, it will approve your request for an additional tax extension only in cases of undue hardship.
Can I file a second extension with the IRS?
No, you don't absolutely have to file your tax return with the IRS by mid-April each year. The IRS will obligingly move this deadline back for you by six months. Up until 2005, it used to be that you could request a second extension of time to file your personal income tax return with the IRS.
How many times can I file a tax extension?
Traditionally, federal tax returns are due on April 15 or the first business day thereafter. However, the IRS does grant you an automatic six-month extension to file your taxes every year, as long as you complete Form 4868.
Can I file another tax extension after October 15?
You can't extend your tax deadline past October 15, but you can still file your return after October. Just remember that after the October deadline, you'll have failure-to-file penalties added to your account until you file your tax return.
What happens if I miss the tax extension deadline?
If you missed the tax deadline but are due a refund there is no penalty. The government is happy to hold on to your money, interest-free, for a bit longer. In fact, you have up to three years from the filing deadline to complete a return and get that refund. Don't delay too long though.
Do you have to pay estimated taxes when filing an extension?
It's vital to understand that an extension of your tax-return deadline applies only to the filing of your return, not to the tax itself, which you must still pay by the original IRS filing deadline. By paying (or having paid through withholding and estimated taxes) 100%, you avoid interest and penalties.
