Help With Fillable Fields in Newly Created Documents
Our ministry account created a new questionnaire form for our beloveds, but I needed help in knowing how to use the fillable fields to make it ready to publish and use in the ministry. How do you fix footnote numbers?
Make sure the References tab is selected on the ribbon. Click the small downward-pointing arrow in the lower-right corner of the Footnotes group. Make sure the Footnotes radio button is selected. Change the Start At value to reflect where you want Word to start numbering.
How do you correct footnotes in Word?
Do one of the following: To change the formatting of the footnote numbers, select the Footnotes Reference Style. If you want to change the formatting of the footnote text at the bottom of the page, select the Footnote Text Style. Click Modify, and then change the formatting options (font, size, and so on).

Why does my footnote disappear?
Probably the most common reason for this is that the page margins are set to narrow to accommodate the footnotes. The other item to check is the document's footnote settings. You have to make sure that the format you're using is set to show the footnotes.
How do you keep footnotes on the same page in Word?
Press Ctrl+Shift’S to display the Apply Styles pane. Footnote Text. Click the Modify button. In the Modify Style dialog, click Format, and then click Paragraph. You'll find Keep lines together on the Line and Page Breaks tab.
