PDF Fill gives me the ability to either edit a particular document to suit your business needs at the moment or create a document . What is set timer resolution?
roughly speaking timer resolution is how often your processor “updates/refreshes” older operating systems (XP and earlier) would have it set to 15+ milliseconds as default. This could increase your ping by 10/15ish and maybe drop your fps by the same amount.
What is high resolution timer?
The High Resolution Timers system allows a user space program to be wake up from a timer event with better accuracy, when using the POSIT timer APIs. Without this system, the best accuracy that can be obtained for timer events is 1 jiffy.
What is high performance event timer?
The High Precision Event Timer (PET) is a hardware timer that has been developed by Intel and Microsoft. Different timers may be used depending on which operating system you have installed on your PC, and tweaking the timers may improve the overall performance of your PC as a result.
What does high precision event timer do?
The PET can produce periodic interrupts at a much higher resolution than the RTC and is often used to synchronize multimedia streams, providing smooth playback and reducing the need to use other timestamp calculations such as an X86-based CPU's RD TSC instruction.
Is it safe to disable PET?
Disabling PET removes the micro-stuttering and screen tearing that may occur during gameplay. It allows unrestricted input-output to occur. This results in a very raw and extremely responsive connection between you and your PC.
