Do electrical panels need to be labeled?

How do you determine which circuit breaker is controlled?
Solution: Head out to the main electrical panel, open the outside cover and there you see 20 30 or more circuit breakers. Don't panic, on the backside of the panel cover there is a list by number of the breakers. Next to each breaker number is a description of each circuit and what it controls.

Signs of a baked breaker that needs to be replaced include: A burning smell coming from the breaker or electrical panel. The breaker is hot to the touch. You see burned parts, frayed wires, obvious signs of wear.
