Great for my online classes!
This has been a great tool for editing PDFs for my Anatomy class. The only problem is the "drawing" tool does not provide enough color options. It's very limited.

The experience is great because there have been some documents that I needed to change, but for the free trial I wasn't expected to get charged at all. It's free for a reason. That's all apart from that, it's a great tool to have.

How do I load a tag in Refit?
Click Annotate tab Tag panel drop-down Loaded Tags and Symbols. Depending on the project template, some element categories may have default tags and symbols loaded. Click Load. Navigate to the location of a tag or symbol family. When you are finished loading tags, click OK.
How do you tag equipment in Refit?
Click Systems tab Model panel Component drop-down Place a Component, and in the Load Family dialog, navigate to the Annotations\\Electrical folder. Select a tag family, and click Open. Click Annotate tab Tag panel Tag By Category. On the Options Bar, select the options that you want to apply to the tag:
How do you tag a type mark in Refit?
You can now tag model elements in your project. Double-click on each new tag in turn and insert the Type Mark value. Most new Refit users will make a unique Tag for Doors, Windows, Floors etc, that will all tag a single parameter such as Type Mark.
How do you tag details in Refit?
In a project, click Manage tab Settings panel Additional Settings drop-down (Callout Tags). In the Type Properties dialog, for Callout Head, specify the type of callout head to use. For Corner Radius, specify the radius of the corners for the callout bubble. Click OK.
What is a type mark in Refit?
Model objects in Refit are identified by a unique Type Mark parameter, which Refit makes available only after a family is actually loaded in a project file. As of late, this has become a bit of a stickler.
How do you add labels in Refit?
Click File tab New Annotation Symbol or Title Block. In the displayed dialog, select the appropriate template for the family you are creating. In the Family Editor, click Create tab Text panel (Label). In the Type Selector, select the label type. On the Format panel, select the vertical and horizontal justification.
How do you make a furniture tag in Refit?
Click Annotate tab Tag panel (Tag by Category). On the Options Bar: To set the orientation of the tag, select Vertical or Horizontal. Highlight the element to tag, and click to place the tag. After the tag is placed, it is in edit mode and can be repositioned.
