Must Have! This program is awesome for creating new contracts or clients, you can even email it and have them sign online. It automatically charges you for a year so make sure you choose monthly billing if you would like to be billed differently than annual.

First off, take a break before proofreading. Read it aloud. Read it bottom-to-top, instead of top-to-bottom. Print it out. Watch out for common mistakes. Remove the passive voice. Use the simplest word possible.
Edit a hard copy. Double-check for homonyms. Watch for punctuation errors. Read aloud. Take a break.
Sleep on it. Look over the document at different times of day. Read your writing out loud. Keep an error list. Keep a list of difficult words nearby. Give it time.
Allow Some Time Between Writing and Proofreading. When the document you have written is still fresh in your mind, most likely you will not spot errors that quickly. Do Not Read Too Fast. Read Your Document Aloud. Take Note of the Mistakes You Commonly Make. Revise and Re-Read.
