I really like it so far. The snap to grid text editing is fantastic. The cloud options and email sync are perfect. Nice job. The UI is almost exactly like my Neat scanner software so it's very intuitive.

Make-Up Time Basics remember that the time must be made up in the same workweek as the time lost. Following Friday. More than 11 hours on the make-up day or more than 40 hours for the week. Who work make-up time in advance of taking time off to take that time off.
Answer: If a properly administered system is in place, employers can legally allow employees to make up missed time. As you may know, pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 510 and 511, if an employee works over forty hours during a workweek, the employee must be paid overtime compensation.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no general legal requirement that employers give employees sick leave. While most employers do in fact give employees some paid time off each year to be used for sick leave, the law does not require employers to do so in most circumstances.
The FMLA does not give employees the right to make up time taken as intermittent FMLA leave. It does, however, require an employer that has a policy of allowing employees using non-FMLA leave the ability to work extra hours to make up missed time to allow the person on FMLA leave the same privilege.
Employers should also keep in mind that like comp time, make-up time is a concept relevant only to non-exempt employees. Remember, exempt employees are paid a full day for any work day in which they perform any work, with very limited exceptions.
There is a law titled the Fair Labor Standards Act (we HR types refer to it as FLEA). If an employee is subject to this law (non-exempt), when they reach more than 40 hours in a given work week, they have to be paid at time and a half for any additional hours.
Yes, make-up time can be worked without incurring overtime when it is approved within the limitations of the law. In general, California employees must request make-up time in writing. Make-up time can be requested to make up work hours the employee has lost or will lose as a result of a personal obligation.
Employees may take time off and then make up the time later in the same workweek, or may work extra hours earlier in the workweek to make up for time that will be taken off later in the workweek. Make-up time worked will not be paid at an overtime rate.
