What do you like best? I love the whiteout option and the text box. Also the drag option to move all text over. What do you dislike? I have no complaints at this time. Click anywhere on the table, then click the Design tab on the right side of the Ribbon. Clicking the Design tab. Locate the Table Styles group, then click the More drop-down arrow to see all available table styles. Select the desired style. The selected table style will appear.
Click the upper-left corner of the table twice to select the entire table, including the table headers. You can also click anywhere in the table, and then press CTRL+A to select the table data in the entire table, or you can click the top-left most cell in the table, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+END.
To select an entire table, move your mouse over the table until you see the table selection icon in the upper-left corner of the table and click on it to select the table. When working within a table, the Table Tools tab appears in the Ribbon, and includes the Design and Layout tabs.
How do you select an entire table? Click the table move handle.
Position the insertion point in any cell within the row, display the Layout tab of the ribbon, then click Select | Select Row. Move the mouse cursor just to the left of the row you want to select, and then click on the left mouse button.
Shift + Tab moves one cell to the left. Up Arrow moves up one row. Alt + Home moves to the first cell in the row. What should you do in order to select an entire table?
Position the insertion point in any cell within the column, display the Layout tab of the ribbon, then click Select | Select Column. Move the mouse cursor just above the column you want to select. It will turn into a downward pointing arrow.
To select a column, move the mouse over the column until you see a black down arrow and then click to select that column. To select multiple columns, hold the mouse down when you click in the first column to be selected using the black arrow cursor and drag over the other columns to select them.
