How do I reduce the KB of a picture in Excel?
Compress individual pictures With your file open in your Microsoft Office application, select the picture or pictures that you want to compress. Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Compress Pictures.
Why is my Excel file size suddenly so large?
This is what makes the file so large: Excel is picking up a lot of empty cells and thinks there's data in them, which then it tries to save into the XLSX file on disk, and because it needs to keep references to all those hundreds or thousands of cells, the file size gets overblown.
How do you decrease KB on a picture?
Compress a picture Select the picture you want to compress. Click the Picture Tools Format tab, and then click Compress Pictures.
