I am a self represented defendant in a small claims case. I cannot afford an attorney. With the robust capabilities, and plenty of time on my hands, I can plow through the case law and ca civil codes, but I can't readily find and fill out forms. PDFfiller has the forms I need and does a credible job of filling them out.

Very useful. Some issues with mobile devices filling out fillable forms and not all the data showing up on the completed form. Loading times could be a little faster. Also, I shouldn't have to give the app approval to access my email each time I upload a new file from my gmail account. Once should be enough, and the connection should be remembered, but it's not.

Great software, some things are not intuitive
You can edit documents, replace text, add fillable fields, etc. Great for documents that are used often and just need a few details changed.
"Replace text" can be difficult to use. Also the process of saving a document is kind of clunky.

Limitations on how many files I can upload and the fact that it opens the files immediately, If I want to merge a newly uploaded files with previously saved files on my dashboard, it creates some unnecessary steps.

Not really any problems - just a few areas the program feels clunky.

Having better results with the site It is a lifesaver as far as my clients being able to sign consents on the screen and get them back to me. So far, the recipients of my docs have been able to follow the instructions and sign the docs without difficulty

How do I write off an unpaid invoice?
You cannot write off your entire unpaid invoice as a business bad debt, because you had not previously recognized the income. However, you can deduct your actual expenses related to the work you did for that client, assigning the expenses to their appropriate categories (research materials, copies, travel, etc.).
What can I do about an unpaid invoice?
It's not Rude To Chase Your Invoices. Set Payment Terms Expectations Early. Warn your Clients About Interest Charges on Late Invoice Payments. Don't Work Yourself Up. Send Them a Late Invoice Letter or Reminder. Send a Statement of Outstanding Cost.
How do you write off an invoice in wave?
Go to the Transactions page and click on Add income. Select the clearing account you just created in the Account dropdown. The amount is the total amount you are writing off (in this case, $1,000) Categorize it as a payment to the invoice, and click Save.

An accrual-basis taxpayer can write off the unpaid invoice because they paid tax on the amount of the invoice on their 2017 tax return. If they don't receive the payment from the customer, they can deduct the amount of the invoice as a bad debt expense in the tax year that they write it off.
