I can remove text with the delete button rather than having the use the eraser tool

If I delete all of the characters from a text box, I have to put a space for it to stick; I can't add or drag in other pdfs to merge them. I have to merge them using a separate tool.

I am not computer techy - and I have been able to figure this out to do what we need. I am sure there are features that I have not figured out yet - but I stay very busy @ work so doing a webinar would be tricky to schedule.

How do you transform cells?
Thaw competent cells on ice. Chill approximately 5 NG (2 l) of the ligation mixture in a 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tube. Add 50 SL of competent cells to the DNA. Place the mixture on ice for 30 minutes. Heat shock at 42°C for 30 seconds×. Add 950 All of room temperature media* to the tube.
How do you select transformed bacterial cells?
Specially prepared bacteria are mixed with DNA (e.g., from a ligation). The bacteria are given a heat shock, which “encourages” them to take up a plasmid. Plasmids used in cloning contain an antibiotic resistance gene. Bacteria without a plasmid die.
