How do I add a field in compact layout?

From the management settings for the object that you want to edit, go to Compact Layouts. Create a new compact layout and give it a label. Add up to 10 fields. Sort the fields by selecting them and clicking Up or Down. Save the layout.

How do you add lightning component to page layout?

Create a Lightning Component for subject record display Create a Custom Page Layout with Lightning Component from the Developer Console (File → New → Lightning Component). Insert Component name CustomVehicleDetails and then click Submit.
