Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode. You will be asked to enter the passcode. Then, under FINGERPRINTS, you will see the name of your Touch ID you used. Click on it.
Make sure that the Home button and your finger are clean and dry. Tap Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, then enter your passcode. Tap Add a Fingerprint and hold your device as you normally would when touching the Home button. Touch the Home button with your finger but don't press.
Just like most things in iOS, your passwords are inside the Settings app. Open up Settings, and then open the Passwords & Accounts section. Next, tap Website & App Passwords. After authenticating using either Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, you will see a list of saved passwords.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- Restart their iPad. Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- Turn off Restrictions altogether, then check for that setting. If it's visible, turn Restrictions back on and check Passcode Changes again.
Turn Touch ID on or off for Passcode, iTunes & App Store, or Apple Pay. Enroll up to five fingerprints. Tap a fingerprint to rename it. Swipe to delete a fingerprint. Identify a fingerprint in the list by touching the Home button.
Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts (or Accounts & Passwords) and tap on Website & App Passwords (or App & Website Passwords.) A pop-up asks for your Face ID/Touch ID (or type in your password), tap it, and you immediately see all the stored IDs.
Touch ID, is a fingerprint recognition system that helps secure your phone. It works in line with your passcode, so you can't have TOUCH ID as an option unless you have set a desired passcode. To use Touch ID, you place your finger on the home button, and it unlocks your phone.
Touch ID lets you have the security of a passcode or alphanumeric password while conveniently accessing your iPhone all while using your fingerprint.
