How do I unlock a canvas file?
Click Files in the course menu. Click on the folder or file in the left-hand Files menu. Click the lock icon that will appear at the top of the display window. In the resulting window, select the appropriate lock/unlock options.
How do students unlock assignments in canvas?
STEP 1: Click on the “LOCK/UNLOCK” button, and select “Manage unlocking” from the drop-down menu. STEP 2: Select the text that you wish to unlock. STEP 4: Set your unlock period start date. STEP 5: Click “Set Unlock”
How do I enable assignments on canvas?
Open Assignments. In Course Navigation, click the Assignments link. Select Grading Type. Select Submission Type. Require Peer Reviews. Allow Anonymous and Moderated Grading. Enable Anonymous Instructor Annotations. Edit Due and Availability Dates. Save Assignment.
How do I unpublish a canvas course?
Unpublish Course If you need to unpublish your course, click the Unpublish button in the sidebar. Students who already received course invitations will not be able to access your course. Once your course contains a graded submission, you can no longer unpublish your course.
How do I make a course available in canvas?
Canvas courses start in an unpublished state. In order to publish your course, you must first set a course home page. To publish your course, click the Publish button located on the right-hand sidebar of your course homepage. Be sure that you also publish your assignments, pages, and other instructional materials.
