How do I stop Microsoft Edge from opening PDF files?
Open Microsoft Edge Click on the three dots () from the right top corner. Select Settings from the drop-down and click on Site permissions from the left pane. Scroll down and click on PDF documents, Toggle the switch to On for Always open PDF files externally.
How do you convert a Word document to a PDF file that is protected?
In the File menu, select the Info tab.
Within the Info tab select the Protect Document button.
Click Encrypt with Password.
Enter and confirm your password, then click OK.
