To show or hide desktop icons Right-click (or press and hold) the desktop, point to View, and then select Show desktop icons to add or clear the check mark. Hiding all the icons on your desktop doesn't delete them, it just hides them until you choose to show them again.
The first way to quickly hide everything is a built-in feature of Windows 10. Just right-click an empty area of the desktop and select View and then uncheck Show desktop icons from the context menu.
Step 1: Go to 'Start', and open 'Settings'. Step 2: Now select 'Personalization'. Then from the left menu choose 'Start'. Step 3: Find the setting that says Show app list in Start menu and turn it off to hide the app list from the Start menu.

Open Settings. Go to Personalization - Taskbar. On the right, click on the link "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" under Notification area. On the next page, enable the option "Always show all icons in the notification area".
