PDFFILLER HAS CHANGED MY PRACTICE - FOR THE BETTER
I use this software everyday and have found it a necessity in my practice.
Prior to having pdffiller, we still had to type into forms using a TYPEWRITER. No joke. With my legal practice there are numerous forms that we have to fill out. Not only does pdffiller have the usual ability to enter Text into a form, but the feature we rely on the most is the ability to DELETE and RE-TYPE into the document. This has improved the time it takes to draft and amend documents that were not originally created by our office.
Sometimes it is difficult to save under a different name and I often accidentally save over a prior document.

I gained TIME, thus I was on time with my tasks, and met deadlines.
Very easy to read, highlight, insert comments (etc), insert and replace figures in pdf documents. It has saved me TIME! I love that it offers features that make manipulation of multiple files easy and fast. I also like the electronic signature option so documents look very professional.

I found this site to be helpful. A great time saver on changing documents. I would have saved more time, if I knew ahead of time, that the scanned in pdf, that I edited, would not be able to convert to a word document.

Very easy to use
Very easy to use. Loved it. Struggled with editing sideways orientated text. Type replaced went a little wonky, it was for a quick edit to a a basic document, not an official presentation, in which case I might have required a more powerful editor.

How do you equilibrate an HPLC column?
Equilibrating time is dependent on the flow rate and dimension of the column. In general, flushing the column with ten up to twenty column volumes is enough for equilibrating. Therefore, the flow rate has to be kept in mind. It is possible to increase the flow rate during equilibrating to shorten the equilibrating time.

How Does HPLC Work? HPLC is a highly improved form of column chromatography. A pump forces a solvent through a column under high pressures of up to 400 atmospheres. The column packing material or adsorbent or stationary phase is typically a granular material made of solid particles such as silica or polymers.

”column volume” is a bit ambiguous. The bed volume (volume of resin in the column) is easy: V = 1/4 * (pi * dc^2 * L) where DC is the radius of the column (half the diameter) and L is the length. The “void volume” (Vm = the amount of mobile phase in the column) is a bit more complex.
