Can I take my 12-year-old to see a 15 film?
No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Adults planning to take a child under 12 to view a 12A film should consider whether the film is suitable for that child. No one younger than 15 may see a 15 film in a cinema.
Can 13-year-olds get into a 15 film?
(PG) Parental Guidance Unaccompanied children of any age may watch. A 'PG' film should not disturb a child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children. (15) 15 No-one younger than 15 may see a '15' film in a cinema.
Can a 13-year-old go to a 15 film?
Nope. A 15 rating means nobody under 15 is allowed full stop. It's illegal. 12A films are the ones where younger kids can go with a parent/ adult.
Can a 14-year-old watch a 15 film at the cinemas with a parent?
”Parents can exercise discretion on whether to allow their child into a film with a rating of 12A or under. However, those under the age of 15 years (including infants) are strictly prohibited from attending 15 rated films, as stated by the BBC.
