I am just learning about this program. So far it is easy and appears secure. I have initially been using the redaction/ blackout feature for several PDF files that I am sending to a client and it has been very effective. I am impressed with the "save" feature in that it allows you to save the edited file in a different format, I.e. Word.

Sometimes its a little difficult to navigate around especially for making an application, but once its set it up it works well. Ive noticed 2nd pages are difficult for customers to see and fill out. Wish there was something that would prompt them to go to it.

How do you rebuild indexing?
To rebuild the Windows Search index, head back to Control Panel > Indexing Options. Click the Advanced button and make sure you're on the Index Settings tab of the Advanced Options window. Under the Troubleshooting section of the Advanced Options window, find and click the Rebuild button.
What does rebuilding the search index do?
The index uses the Windows Search service and runs as the Searchindexer.exe process in the background. The index will automatically rebuild and update for changes made to the included locations since the last index rebuild to increase search result accuracy.
How does indexing affect searches?
Indexing is the process of looking at files, email messages, and other content on your PC and cataloging their information, such as the words and metadata in them. When you search your PC after indexing, it looks at an index of terms to find results faster.
How long does it take to rebuild index?
2) Currently our database is doing full index rebuild every 3-4 months, and it is takes 8 hours. Let says we up the frequency of index rebuild to once every month.
Can I use Outlook while index is rebuilding?
Rebuild Outlook Search Index. Go to File > Options and select Search in the left pane. Do note that while the index is being rebuilt searches probably won't work, so just wait until the process completes. The amount of time it takes to complete varies depending on the number of emails, file size, and processing power.
How do I know when indexing is complete?
The only way to see if initial indexing is done is to check out the status bar at the bottom of the main screen in CDS. When CDS is performing an update, you'll see the indexing progress and/or scan of your folders.
How do you calculate indexing progress?
Return to the Search Tools > Search tab (by clicking in the search bar). Select the Search Tools button on the toolbar. Select Indexing Status.
